My name is Kasey Morgan and I specialize in Whitetail Deer Land Management. I currently manage over 4,000 acres of high quality hunting land throughout several states. Day to day my job is to create and execute land management plans that entail everything from prescribed fire, timber stand improvement, food source architecture, native landscape restoration, water source implementation, and overall hunting strategies to achieve success. In 2015 I worked as an Outfitter in East Central Ohio where I was responsible for managing several thousand acres as well as working with hunters to ensure a quality hunting experience. In addition to my role in Land Management I also own a business called Bloodhound Deer Trackers where we utilize dogs to recover lost or wounded game for hunters. In our best year, 2015, we took on 68 tracks and recovered 52 deer that would not have been recovered without the use of our dogs. My greatest passion in life is enhancing habitat to increase the overall health of the whitetail deer herd. It is an incredible feeling to leave something better than you found it, and that is what I always aim to do when working on a piece of property. In addition to all of this, I enjoy filming wildlife and have been doing so for the last 19 years, 10 of which has been for national TV programs. Throughout my 24 years of hunting I have managed to tag 31 deer over the Pope & Young Scoring minimum. 18 of these deer were over 145 inches and 3 of them scored over 170” which is the minimum requirement for Boone & Crocket.
